Ellen Allien: Sehnsucht
What’s the first thing you do when you get a sampler? Start sampling vocals. Sehnsucht is a great example of how to incorporate tiny snatches of vocals as a lead melody and percussion; backed up by some crunchy industrial housey electronica and some gated pads. Altogether musically wonderful.
