More CV Hints

  • List your achievements and responsibilities in reverse chronological order, i.e. most current appears first. This is especially important when you’ve had a long career.
  • Don’t include your entire career history, when you’ve been in work for a long time. Who’s interested in what you did 25 years ago?
  • Don’t list everything you’ve ever done.
  • Achievements and failures are really important to document. Just listing what your responsibilities and roles were doesn’t mean anything.
  • Don’t submit a 14 page CV, because it won’t get read.
