Customer Unsupported

Last week I had reason to contact Scottish (British) Gas by e-mail due to an issue with account information on their house.co.uk website. One page told me I had to pay money, another told me I didn’t.

You can contact them by e-mail, which together with their phone support is part of their ‘award winning customer services team’. I sent them an e-mail, but as they appeared unable to respond to my e-mail in 4 days, I rang them today.

The guy that answered claimed to know nothing about house.co.uk ‘never seen it,’ he announced, and according to my records my e-mail hadn’t been received either. I’ve concluded that they have a website that appears to be flaky and a customer service division that doesn’t know what they should be supporting. Fantastic.
