Global Warnings
Here are some things I found out last night, watching the BBC News and Newsnight. First the “that’s interesting” knowledge-bite: Modern dishwashers use less water than washing by hand.
Now, the “I thought we had a chance, but now I’m convinced we’re screwed” information:
- If the UK stopped using cars entirely, we’d cut our carbon emissions by 2.5%.
- That 2.5% would be entirely offset by the increasing emissions coming from China in just 51 days.
