Emily Haines and The Soft Skeleton: Doctor Blind
Charlotte Martin’s second album, Stromata, includes a humorous but dark anti-pharmaceutical rant, Pills. Doctor Blind takes a more straightforward approach – more down than up. Every time I listen to Emily’s album Knives Don’t Have Your Back I find myself loving it more. It’s the slow-burner of 2006.
